SL Guitar Works at the Brighton Guitar Show & FX Expo This Saturday

This Saturday I'll be exhibiting at the Brighton Guitar Show & FX Expo, and I'll have a selection of my custom-built guitars on display for visitors to see and try.

If you've ever wondered what goes into having a guitar built just for you, or you're simply interested in chatting about guitars, I'd be delighted to see you.

Every SL Guitar is built to order, with each instrument designed around the player rather than taken from a standard specification. Whether it's the choice of tonewoods, neck profile, hardware or finish, every detail is chosen to create a guitar that feels right in your hands and inspires you to play.

One thing that's particularly important to me is using components made by people who care about quality as much as I do. That's why I work with some excellent British independent pickup winders, including Old Bones Pickups and Green Pickups. Their hand-wound pickups have their own character and are a perfect match for a bespoke instrument, giving each guitar its own voice rather than relying on off-the-shelf alternatives.

The Brighton Guitar Show is always a great day out. It brings together some of the UK's best guitar builders, amp makers, pedal companies and accessory brands, all under one roof. There are plenty of guitars to try, effects to explore and live demonstrations throughout the day, so whether you're looking for your next instrument or just fancy spending a day surrounded by great gear, it's well worth the trip.

If you're coming along, please stop by the SL Guitars stand, have a play on the guitars, and say hello. Whether you're thinking about commissioning a custom build or simply want to find out more about how I build my guitars, I'll be happy to have a chat.

I look forward to seeing you there.
